What is Dharti Pukare? Dharti Pukare is a Hindi phrase that translates to “My Earth.” It is also the name of a retail store in India featuring handmade goods, organic foods and other environmentally neutral products.

My placement within that program was with the newly opened Dharti Pukare store, located in the state of Himachal Pradesh (located south of Jammu & Kashmir and north of Delhi). I'm going to post some of the photos from my trip below. The timings range from September - December 2010.
